2007

Started Microfinance business in 4 branches, Headquarterd in Chennai

2008

Raised 1st round of capital Rs.6 cr within 3 months of operations

2009

MFI Grading upgradedto mfR3 in November 2008, Raised 99 crs fresh equity

2010

MFI Grading upgraded to mfR2 in June 2010, Raised 138 crs fresh equity

2011

Received GVC rating of GVC Level 3 (1st for a MFI ) from CRISIL

2012

Equitas Small Finance Bank Gross Assets Under Management crossed 1000crs

2013

Launched SME, LAP business, Raised 148 crs fresh equity

2014

Gross AUM crossed 2000 crs , Raised 198 crs fresh equity

2015

RBI granted in principle license for small finance bank, Net worth crossed Rs 1000 crs

2016

Initial Public Offering (IPO) of the shares of Equitas Holding Limited

2017

Opened 375 branches,Deposits grew to Rs 3700 crs with a 32% CASA book

2018

The Yellow Army Campaign wins ABP News Best Brand Campaign Award in BFSI category

2019
